Let me go straight to the point, buying groceries in the middle of pandemic is kind of dangerous and PLEASE AGREE with me we are lazy to put on masks so we stay indoor saying it is dangerous outside. We are still in the battle so all we can do is stay at home and stay safe.
But staying at home for a long period can be boring so I have a suggestion for you. To avoid boredom, start cooking, baking or learn something new. In quarantine period, I started to cook Korean food and trust me I have become a better chef now. This is my own recipe so I hope you like it!
Tteokbokki is basically Korean spicy rice cakes. All you need is gochujang sauce, tteok (rice cakes) and few vegetables. It is very easy recipe. If you are a beginner, this recipe will be helpful.
First prepare the ingredients,
1. Rice cakes (tteok) - You can buy it in supermarkets. It is available in many places.
2. 3/4 cup of Water
3. Gochujang
4.Sugar
5.Soy Sauce
6.Fish cake (optional)
7. Sesame seeds (optional)

Steps:
1. Add water, sugar and Gochujang inside pan. You can add sugar according to your preference. If you have high spice tolerance you can add less tea spoon of sugar. Meanwhile for Gochujang, a table spoon will be enough. Once you have add the three ingredients in the pan heat it up.
2. Stir it until it boils.
3. Add rice cakes (tteok), fish cakes and soy sauce.
4. Mix it well. Let the rice cakes (tteok) absorb the flavour of gochujang.
5. Add sesame seeds.
Thats it! Tteokbokki is ready! You can add egg and vegetables.
