Gochujang is a primer ingredient in Korean cuisine. Literally all the Korean dishes requires gochujang. Earlier gochujang was made at homes and kept for months, however as centuries passed most of us do not know our traditional cooking method. Most of the ingredients are now available in instant packets. Meanwhile, it is hard to get those instant packets in some regions. So, I wondered how can I cook a simple Korean dish without buying that one ingredient that is the key ingredient.
Luckily, I found a way to do the traditional gochujang sauce. The following is my recipe. You can try it !
Ps: The taste can be different from the other gochujang products.
The ingredients you need:
1. Chili powder
2. Miso paste
4. Rice vinegar

Steps to make DIY gochujang.
1. Take a bowl, put miso paste, garlic paste, chili powder and rice vinegar and mix everything together well.
2. Now add honey and water according to your preference.
thats it, gochujang is ready!
