Spicy Korean Food You Must Try (Part 1)

When it comes to spicy food, Korean spicy dishes come to our mind first. The mind-blowing Korean dishes are impeccable! Spicy lovers call Korean spicy food as their paradise as it as all levels of spiciness. Now, as a foodie, HAHAHAHA. Yes, I'm a foodie so I know which dish suits which mood. So here it goes...

1. Tteokbokki

Tteokbokki is Korean spicy rice cake. This dish is also known as the street food because Koreans love to eat tteokbokki in roadsides along with soju. It is the best pairing. The spicy in tteok(rice cakes) is actually gochujang paste. You can try this dish at home along with cheese actually. Tteokbokki is one of the few dishes which you can alter according to your preference. For an example, if you are vegan you can add soy taufu in tteokbokki or add meat.

2. Kimchi Jjigae

More than taste, this soup is all about the benefits. I remember having a bad flue for a week and as a person who hates to eat medicine I was adamant to not take any flu medicine. So as a remedy my friend suggested me this soup since then this soup is my favourite whenever I'm having flu and monsoon season. This soup is very easy to cook. All you need is kimchi, gochujang and vegetables.
