Tteokbokki Halal Recipe

Some food look really delicious but we can't eat it just because it is NON HALAL   . Life is unfair when it comes to food. As there is always a good solution for every problem. Googling for halal recipe is one of the good solution actually. HAHAHA.. YES. I have been there. I sat in front my laptop and searched for halal recipe in google, quora and many pages to find the one easy recipe. 

I read many recipes and understood the concept of cooking the one specific dish and cooked it with my own idea  .So the recipe you are getting here is my recipe of tteokbokki halal. Tteokbokki halal is korean rice cakes and sauce. You can add any ingredient you want like fish cake, fish ball and even ramen (Rabokki).


RECIPE TIME 


STEPS TO COOK TTEOKBOKKI HALAL

1.If your rice cakes aren’t already soft, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes or leave them in the fridge overnight then soak in cold water for 30 minutes. 

The ingredients are very important for halal food so find for halal gochujang.

2.In a large pot, combine water, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar and corn syrup. Mix them over medium-high heat until everything is combined well. 

3.Once the mixture starts to boil, reduce to a simmer. Then add tteokbokki and fish cake. Stir for 3 to 5 minutes until everything is fully cooked. 

4.Add sesame oil, sesame seeds, green onion and stir. Serve and enjoy!

 

Then that's it halal tteokbokki is ready
